Woven by Your Hands

Whispers to Abba
Abba, as I watch my great grandchildren playing this evening, my heart grows quiet. They grow so fast, time can slip by and before you know it they are adults. As I look, I can see bright and beautiful threads. They are being gently woven together in each of their lives. Their tapestry comes to life, gently woven by Your hands.
They now love.
They knows safety.
They are surrounded by people who understand how to give love freely and well.
I am so grateful, Abba, that the generational curses have been broken—destroyed by Your precious blood. What once passed from one generation to the next no longer has power. They are growing in the knowledge of Your love for them, learning that You gave Your life so they could live whole and free.
Just last night, the eldest was singing. The lyrics ‘I’ve got joy, joy, joy, down in my heart’ made me smile. Such simple words—yet such deep truth.
Every child should know this kind of love.
And still, Abba, my heart aches for the children who do not—those who know only fear, pain, and sorrow. I lift them to You now.
Yahweh Sabaoth—Lord of Hosts—rise up.
Anoint those You have chosen to stand in Your strength.
Send forth those who walk in Your plans, to disrupt the schemes of the enemy, to expose what hides in darkness, and to rescue these children from the hands of evil predators.
Strengthen the hands of the righteous.
Give courage to those You call.
Make a way where there seems to be no way.
These are children created in Your image, Abba—
formed for love,
meant for safety,
called to walk in Your truth and light.
I trust You—Defender of the innocent, Restorer of generations.
I place these children in Your mighty and merciful care.
And I thank You—for joy that endures, for lives redeemed, and for hope that continues to rise.
Amen.
